This course provides an overview of the legal, business, and financial aspects of the entertainment industry, specifically in the fields of television, motion pictures, music, publishing, internet, and the digital industries. It will focus on the practical application of various areas of the law and practice including intellectual property, contracts, right of publicity, employment, corporate, dispute resolution, marketing/advertising, and others to achieve business/creative objectives. There are no prerequisites for this course.
